Shared Groups 5.3 released!

We have just released the new version of our Shared Groups app.
It is a complete rewrite and comes with a number of exciting features:

  • Realtime notifications
    Whenever a user accepts your shared groups the subscriber state will be updated in your browser immediately.
  • Share multiple groups at once
    Sharing many groups has been a hassle so far. With the new version you can simply select as many groups as you like from your existing contact groups and share them.
  • Share groups with multiple subscribers at once
    You can even add a number of subscribers to many groups at once. This will help you to manage complex situations.
  • Send out notifications only once
    When sharing many groups each subscriber received a single notification mail for each group in the past. Now you can send out a single mail for all groups.
  • Accept invitations for multiple groups
    Subscribers can now subscribe to all shared groups at once. No need to click on many emails as in the previous versions.
  • New improved layout
    The new layout now matches our application design guide and integrates seamlessly into the new Google look and feel

Ultradox wins GADC 2012

Google anncounced the winners of the Google Apps Developer Challenge 2012.

Our new product Ultradox has won the price in the highly competitive category “Enterprise / Small Business Solutions - United States, Europe and the Rest of the World”.

Ultradox is a cloud-based service that allows you to create personalized and beautiful documents from Google Docs or LibreOffice templates.
We have created a number of videos that explain the basic functions of Ultradox.

You can insert data from Google Spreadsheets as live tables into your documents, create and send personalized letters (aka mail merge) to selected contacts from your GMail address book.
Get started by using on of our examples as a starting point.

Ultradox is the first application that leverages Google Cloud Print on the server side. This allows you to generate and print documents right from the cloud on any cloud-ready print even if you are offline.

UCM mini released!

We have just released our new UCM mini that allows you to edit your contacts right in the GMail interface when using Google Apps.
It also contains SmartMail and our new OrgCharts module, so you'll be able to even send out personalized emails right from the GMail interface.
It is still in beta, but feel free to give it a try. You'll have to add the UCM to your Google Apps domain to get started.
It you have already added UCM to your domain you may need to update the permissions to get the UCM mini.

The new version of UCM provides two new modules:

Dashboard
The dashboard allows you to manage your own profile.
If you are using a Google Apps account your profile will be linked to your Google Apps profile.
Every user in your domain can keep the personal info up to date.
The updated info will be available in the domain users tab immediately and will also show up in the GMail Directory.

UCM Contacts
The new UCM contacts tab enables you to store an unlimited number of contacts.
These contacts will only be visible in UCM - they are not synced with any other system.
You can copy contacts from any other tab to the UCM tab to create a single consolidated list of contacts.
This is especially useful if you want to send out newsletters to a large number of contacts.
