Universal Contact Manager: Beta test running

Friday, May 21, 2010

We have started the public beta of our new Universal Contact Manager.
Right now the number of beta testers is limited.
And even more important: If you are participating please be aware that we might purge the datastore from time to time. This will of course not remove any of your contacts but you'll loose your contact history and the ability to restore deleted contacts.
Please make sure you have an exported csv-copy of your contacts!

News from the Google I/O

We've been attending some interesting sessions at the Google I/O. Especially the talks about Google App Engine have been quite interesting.
We hope to take advantage of some new features soon to be able to improve the overall quality of our products.

We've also discussed our new Universal Contact Manager with some of the Google developers and hope to be able to release a full version soon.
Right now we will restrict the public beta version to a limited number of users and increase the number over time to stabilize the product over time.
